Bridget uses her summer holidays to play soccer in a girls camp. She does not wants to be like her depressive mother has been. To prove it to herself she collects some sexual exeriences with Eric, a coach.
Tibby stays at home and works at Wallman's. She makes a movie. Bailey, a little girl, who has leukemia, helps her. She starts to like Brian, a boy who always plays videogames at Wallman's. Tibby visits Bailey in hospital when she gets there. Bailey dies.
Carmen visits her dad. He tells her he is going to marry. Carmen does not like his new girlfriend Lydia and her children Krista and Paul. When they try dresses for the wedding Lydia and Krista laugh at her and Carmen rans way. When she notices her dad has not looked for her she throw a rock against his window and than she takes a bus home.
